Characteristics & Applications: Antioxidant 1726 / Irganox 1726 / 2,4-Bis(dodecylthiomethyl)-6-methylphenol, is an effective heat stabilizer for adhesive materials, especially suitable for hot melt adhesives, solvent adhesives and water-based adhesives. Antioxidant 1726 also applies to the SBS/SIS block copolymer, and polyurethane products such as polyurethane sealant. It effectively protects the substrate against thermo oxidative degradation, it is non-staining, low volatile, resistant to extraction, and stable to light and heat.
