Applications:

UV 99-2 is a liquid UV absorber providing excellent protection against ultraviolet degradation incoatings, including automotive and industrial coatings, paints, and wood stains. It is ideal for use inboth water- and solvent-based systems. Should the self color of UV 99-2 be an issue,it is recommended to test UV 384-2 as a potential alternative. Combinations of UV 99-2 with hindered amine lightstabilizers such as LS 292 or LS 123 often provide significantly enhanced performance, providing maximumlong-term protection against blistering, color change, cracking, gloss reduction, and delamination.
